Q & A

1) Why won’t the tap (contactless) payment systems work with my card even though there’s money on it?

You may have exceeded the maximum limit for tap (contactless) payments set by your card issuer. You may have also made a high number of tap payments in a short amount of time, and the card issuer wants to verify it’s you by requiring a chip and pin payment. If you have the card integrated into your mobile phone or smartwatch, you can try to tap payment again with that. Otherwise, please try another card.

For further information, please contact your card issuer.

2) Who should I contact if the card payment fails?

If the card payment fails and it’s not because of an exceeded limit for tap (contactless) payments or required verification — as explained above — it’s best to contact your card issuer.
